- Public Law 113-287 was enacted in December 2014, creating Title 54 U.S. Code "National Park Service and Related Programs" as the new location for all NPS service-wide authorities -- "the organizational structure of the existing law was improved, and ambiguities, contradictions, and other imperfections in the law were removed" (U.S. House).
