2014 CESU Network National Meeting

Submission Guidelines

We will accept CESU MEDIA PRODUCTION SUBMISSION until April 15.

Session proposals and side meeting submissions are closed.

 

CESU Media Production Submission

Examples include orientation films for park or refuge visitor centers that showcase the unique characteristics of a given place; videos highlighting partnerships; video presentations of field research or management methods; educational videos for K-12 students; interpretive podcasts telling an historical narrative; movies about process and change that outline the challenges and opportunities faced by public land managers today (e.g., climate change); or student-produced films about their experience on public lands.

Video Requirements – All media productions will be shared as video.

  • Your video must be loaded to a publicly available site such as YouTube, Vimeo, or an agency or institution website.
  • Maximum length: 10 minutes. If your movie is longer, you may edit a version for the CESU meeting. You may also submit a video podcast series (or episode), not exceeding 10 minutes in length

Additional Information

  • If the video producers, investigators, or federal agency representatives are at NCTC, they will present a two-minute introduction. If not, a CESU Council member or CESU Director will introduce the video.
  • A panel will select the videos to be screened at NCTC. All submitted movies will be linked to the cesu.org website.
